Three
aspects of the work

The World:

Certain misconceptions of reality can cause our world to become misaligned to our inner-experience of self. The friction that occurs when our beliefs of reality, and the reality that presents itself do not match, causes stress in our lives. Shakespeare depicted life as the great stage showing that which we hide from ourselves. Plato talked about the shadow formations projected on the cave –wall to help us realize the patterns of our own minds. Re- aligning our minds with the reality we encounter, we find a way to resolve stress  whilst yet gaining a greater capacity to inform our lifes beneficially.

Our Relations: Life is relating. Even if we are alone we relate to nature, animals, and to ourselves. To know how to relate well- to stay centered and honest in meeting our own needs whilst yet staying open to understand and meet the needs of others, is an art that can be learned. There are simple steps and concepts that can help us unwind seemingly complex matters by way of refinding trust, clarity and the right approach.

The Body: Often we only look at symptoms and call the symptom of our feeling unwell the ‘illness’.  Instead of trying to ‘heal’,‘medicate’ or otherwise fight the symptom that has occurred, we return to view the situation, out of which the symptom has emerged and listen to the expression of the illness experienced as the bodies’ attempt to address and manage the underlying imbalance of the system as a whole.
